What is the Street Festival about?

The name in Spanish “callejeando” (strolling on the streets) is a reference to the action of walking through the streets and invites everyone to participate in this event. This is about a street event attempting to attract the interest of the highest possible number of people: a very mixed public without any age limit who normally do not visit cultural events. We offer in this way an opportunity to bring art closer to the people for the first time.

The festival’s philosophy is that a great number of artists show their art, invading squares and streets of villages (musicians, troubadours, jugglers, dancers, actors, artisans, graffiti artists, etc.) concentrating hundreds of artists coming from squares, metro stations and streets of any big city in the world. We give these musicians a chance. Musicians who, even though they are professionals with a lot of experience, have still not recorded their first album, or are unknown beyond their small circle of fans.
